The children absolutely loved this production! As previously stated the lesson to learn from each story was very popular with them. Four came up during various subjects and activities that we did! They also loved the voices, background, music, songs and visuals!

It is a good resource covering English (story, emotional + image etc.) poem, history
(story, cause & effect, sequence) and SESE (geography+science) + SPHE – My world plus importance of listening to advice from parents. It is a good all round resource.

It encompasses – all three! The children never seem to tire of watching the DVD.
Personally, I like the fact that the images are soothing and simplistic in a very beautiful way, unlike fast-moving & loud cartoon films that the children watch. It is very conducive to project work and can include so many ideas of the Curriculum.

- Lovely, gentle – such 'easy to remember' songs.

The children never seem to tire of watching Woodpecker Wood. The images are soothing and simplistic in a very beautiful way unlike fast moving and loud cartoon films. This is very conducive to project work and can include so many ideas within
the curriculum.
The Stories really do make the children aware of the importance of showing kindness to each other. Beautifully coloured illustrations. Wonderful believable characters and story-lines. Songs are so catchy - it was also very noticeable how everyone remained still and listened!
It reminds me of Wind in the Willows. Lovely easy to remember songs, loved the colourful pictures and the wooden characters appearing as they do!
